Life Below Water 🌊 SDG 14 🐚 Sustainable Development Goals for Kids

Educational video for children that talks about the fourteenth of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), life below water. Underwater life is the set of ecosystems that exisit in seas and oceans. They are super important to humans for several reasons: they act as the planet's climate regulator and provide us with food, raw materials and energy resources. The oceans cover three quarters of Earth's surface and contain 97 percent of the planet's water. In fact, when viewed from space, our planet looks like a big blue sphere. In addition, the oceans and seas are home to some 250,000 species of living things, and it is believed that there are still another 500,000 undiscovered. The rising temperature of our planet is also affecting the oceans which endangers the survival of many marine animals. This video is a very useful and interesting resource for children. REPRODUCTION IN ANIMALS 🐶🐦 SEXUAL and ASEXUAL 🥚🤰🏻 OVIPAROUS, VIVIPAROUS, OVOVIPAROUS

Educational video for children that talks about classifying animals according to how they reproduce. As you may already know, living beings have offspring similar to themselves through reproduction. There are two types of reproduction: asexual and sexual reproduction. First, we have asexual reproduction. This type of reproduction occurs in very few animal species. It involves only one parent that does not have specialized reproductive organs. When they become adults, organisms that reproduce asexually can produce identical copies of themselves. Some examples are jellyfish or sea sponges. Alternatively, there is sexual reproduction. Sexual reproduction is the most common in animals and involves two parents: a male and a female. This means that the offspring will resemble both. We classify animals into three groups according to the type of sexual reproduction they perform: oviparous, viviparous and ovoviviparous. This video is a very useful and interesting resource for children. It is perfect for teaching classification of animals by reproduction. It is an excellent video for primary education.
